Welcome to the Village of Galloway, where suburban Columbus runs into country living. Just a couple of miles from the farm fields are Doctors West Hospital and the new Hollywood Casino! Located between Hilliard and Grove City, the village has a rural feel but is only 10-15 minute drive to downtown Columbus with easy access to I-270/I-70/I-71.
Galloway is an unincorporated community west of the city of Columbus in southern Prairie Township, Franklin County. The 43119 ZIP Code, however (which carries a Galloway mailing address) covers a significant portion of rural and suburban western Franklin County, as well as parts of western Columbus, and locals might use the name to refer to any location in the area roughly bounded by I-70, Galloway Rd, Alkire Rd, and Big Darby Creek.
This village boasts modest home prices and two beautiful public parks, Prairie Oaks and Darby Creek. While mostly in the Southwest School district there are also homes available in the Hilliard School System and Columbus Public Schools. Private schools in this area include Cypress Christian Schools and St. Cecilia School.
